Gradient Bright 4

LTF A EN A Beginner/Intermediatebb

Gradient has focused primarily on safety in the development the new Bright4 and important improvements in recovery behaviour have been achieved. Spiral recovery characteristics are a challenging feature of lower aspect ratio designs but the advanced testing and research at Gradient has resulted in a glider with an even greater degree of passive safety while maintaining good handling and performance for a paraglider in EN/LTF A. The gliders characteristics and ground handling should achieve an effective and fast learning progress among the pilots. Easy take off and stabile flight fit for beginners that are looking for relaxed paragliding fun.

Gradient continues with our proven mix of Porcher Marine Skytex (S 9092 45 g/m2) water repellent cloth for the upper sail and Porcher Marine Skytex (S 9017 40g/m2) for the lower surface. The main ribs are made of stretch-resistant Porcher Marine Skytex. This carefully chosen mix of cloth types for the different elements of the design ensures the optimum balance of durability, lasting performance and strength.

Gradient Golden III

LTF 1-2 EN B Intermediate/Sports Gliderbb

After a worldwide success of the predecessor model Golden2 Gradient's new intermediate glider Golden3 comes up with certification EN-B, LTF 1-2. The Golden3 is a completely new development that rose from a final comparison of different prototypes. The Golden3 has a new profile to achieve a higher degree of effectiveness in converting airstreams. Concerning the Golden3's handling the Gradient-Team's target was to achieve a sensitive sportclass characteristic to give maximum feedback to the pilot. So, the pilot is able to react precisely on air movement and turbulence. Like all otherGradient's models, the Golden3 comes up with the typical Gradient's wing construction: itreduces the gliders weight and further improves the wing's flight characteristics in extreme manoeuvres, turbulent air and thermals. Golden3 was designed as direct replacement of Golden2 and in term of pilot skill is not anyhow more demanding to fly.

Ozone Geo 2

DHV 1-2 Lightweight Intermediate Paraglider

The Geo II is an entirely new wing, with no residual design features from the original Geo except for the cloth. This new wing is the answer to the pilots who have been asking for a lightweight DHV 1-2 wing with above average performance! With a new advanced profile that is featured in all of the next generation of Ozone wings, the Geo II has the glide performance necessary for serious vol-bivouac flights in mountain terrain or efficient glides in weak flatland conditions. Segmented diagonals are used throughout; these are lighter than standard full diagonals and have allowed for a massive 110m reduction of total line length, which has in turn resulted in less drag and higher performance at no cost of safety. The Geo II sleek new planform has swept tips and a carefully proportioned reduction in cell size at the tip for smooth airflow in this aerodynamically critical area. Efficient wingtips increase both performance and handling. The Porcher Skytex 36g/m2 cloth has a well proven record of durability. Lines are a combination of sheathed Aramid (lowers), UV treated unsheathed Aramid (mids) and unsheathed Dyneema (uppers). The Geo II is available in two riser options: standard risers, and light weight Dyneema for pilots who are most concerned with weight. Ozone wings are adventure-proven, and the Geo II is the ultimate adventure wing for intermediate pilots. Ozone Buzz Z3

LTF 1-2 EN B Intermediate Paraglider

The Buzz Series has set a new standard for versatility in the 1-2 / B class of wings. With passive safety and comfort suitable for newer pilots, and handling and glide performance for long XC flights, the new Z3 is a highly capable tool in the hands of a Beginner-Intermediate pilot.
BALANCE Finding the ideal balance between sail weight, aspect ratio, and profile is the crucial quest for any wing, but in the 1-2 / B category the result must come together with all of the factors aligned equally, and with no sacrifice. The Z3 is the perfect balance between safety and performance for many pilots. Talented beginners will find a wing with which they can progress for several years, and higher airtime pilots will experience the full usability of the Z3 in active air and real XC conditions.
FEELING Flying the Z3, comfort is the first word that comes to mind. The compact, pitch stable feel is ‘natural’ and relaxing. Feedback to the pilot is perfectly moderated through progressive brake pressure, providing information that you will use to climb easily in thermals. The pitch stability of the Z3 means that it carves gently into the core of the thermal, without sliding out or resisting the perfect roll angle, which is all too common in other 1-2 / B wings with less handling. The Buzz Z3 has a highly compact and coordinated feel which pilots of all abilities will appreciate.
PERFORMANCE Extremely solid in active air, you will instantly appreciate the Z3’s stability in turbulence and in accelerated flight. A carefully refined profile and perfectly balanced sail tension are its key ingredients for performance in active air. New mini-ribs make the trailing edge smooth and free of unnecessary parasitic drag, and a new line plan has reduced the overall line drag by 12% over its predecessor. The Buzz Z3 is an ideal choice for pilots who fly approximately 30-50 hours per year, or for more experienced pilots who are searching for a wing with passive safety and comfort in the middle of the 1-2 / B class. We have poured a great of our wings, with the knowledge that the Buzz series has become the best-selling choice for thousands of leisure pilots around the world.

Ozone Mojo 3

EN A/B Standard Paraglider

Ideal for new pilots and anyone seeking EN A/B safety. Total passive safety with top level performance in the category for XC flying. The Mojo 3’s central purpose is to provide the passive safety that pilots may rely on for their first stages of cross country flying, but the most significant improvement for this generation is in speed and glide performance. The Mojo 3 is balanced and safe enough for a student’s first days on the hill, but has the agility and performance needed for 100km and longer XC flights.
With similar flight characteristics to its predecessors, the Mojo 3 has massive brake travel and a very comfortable feel. The wing inflates easily in no-wind conditions and has zero tendencies to overshoot in higher winds. Though precise, the brake travel is forgiving enough for a beginner to set up the slightly tighter landing patterns that XC flying introduces. Major performance gains have been made through drag reduction and a more efficient trailing edge, due to a 10% reduction in total line length and more advanced internal construction at the trailing edge. These improvements have now put the Mojo 3 at the top of its category not only in terms of safety and handling, in glide and speed performance as well.
The Mojo 3 is constructed from 45gm2 Porcher Sport Skytex cloth, which has proven to be a durable and reliable material with unparalleled longevity. The overall passive safety of the Mojo Series has remained uncompromised, even with the current performance gains of the Mojo3. It is solid and forgiving enough for any new pilot or for pilots for whom passive safety is paramount… Whichever type of pilot you are, we are confident that the Mojo3 will take you wherever you want to go, and further. Enjoy your time at cloudbase

Ozone Swift

LTF 1-2 EN B Lightweight Paraglider

The Absolute Ultimate in Agility, Performance, and Lightweight Versatility… The Swift is an evolution of the Rush 2, A hybrid mix of light and superlight Porcher Sport materials, an optimized line spec for reduced drag and special leading edge reinforcements are just a few of the design features that set the Swift apart.
Agility Understand thermals like never before, and manoeuvre precisely near terrain. An advanced profile combined with the high-tech light materials of the Swift has created an agility never seen before in a certified wing. The handling and responsiveness is more than precise, it’s sharp, while remaining comfortable. What this means to you, the pilot, is an increased awareness of the air around you, and a heightened ability to use it and react to it. You will find details in the thermal that would never be detectable on other wings, and you will use them to your advantage to climb in ways that you never thought possible.
Performance Glide through the top of the EN B class, and pass the competition. With a glide ratio well above the rest of the EN B class and even competing in the EN C class, the Swift’s unrivaled performance is the result of line drag reduction and advanced profiling; factors that have created performance breakthroughs without compromises in passive safety. Rigid leading edge battens are lightweight and efficient, and Ronstan ball bearing pulleys make the speed bar a joy to use.
Lightweight Ozone’s research in light wing construction began in 2001 with the Peak, continued during the first ever X-Alps race in 2003, and culminated in the current Geo II and Ultralite wings which are both leaders in their classes. The combination of light material and construction used for the Swift is the result of our continuing research and development, and the Swift is years ahead of the competition; nothing comes close in performance and weight. Any other wing with comparable performance will weigh at least 1.2kg more, and to fly anything lighter you will have to sacrifice a tragic amount of performance. In light performance, the Swift flies alone. A special blend of materials has created the Swift’s unique agility and glide performance. Constructed with mainly unsheathed lines, the Swift features UV resistant Edelrid unsheathed mains, excepting the AR1, AR2, BR1, BR2 main riser lines, which are sheathed. The top surface of the Swift is made from Porcher Sport 36gm2 cloth, like the Geo II. This cloth is lightweight and packable while still retaining a moderate level of durability. The bottom surface is Porcher Sport 27gm2 cloth from the Ultralite Series, which is the lightest cloth we use. The Swift will last for hundreds of hours when properly cared for, but will not withstand above average abuse.

Dreams realized out of cloth and lines.
The Chili 2 pilot can dream of new personal goals, the performance of the Chili 2 will pave the way. The Chili 2 is a top-class high end 1-2. Therefore, the target group for the Chili 2 is advanced pilots who enjoy cross country or ambitious thermal pilots. While the former Chili served the freestyler, the Chili 2 is geared to the handling-oriented pilot. The very high comfort factor gives pilots a chance to concentrate fully on flying. An aspect ratio of 5.65 and 3-Line concept provides a level of performance never seen before in this class. JET FLAP Technology, intuitive construction, extensive testing and trimming, have resulted in a high dose of passive safety and virtually perfect handling. A modified Cayenne 3 profile was applied to the Chili 2, in order to optimize passive safety in this category. After the purebred 3-Line concept proved itself on the Cayenne 3, we implemented the drag-saving concept into the Chili 2. This drag advantage enters into glide performance producing a performance advantage of almost 10%, compared to conventional 4-liners.

Gin Bolero 4

EN A First Paraglider

The 4th generation of the Bolero emerges with high expectations and is ready to live up to its promise. From the first day on the training hill to regular cross country flights, the Bolero 4 will be your faithful partner and will bring the best out of you in any situation.
From the beginning to cross country flights Gin's principle design consideration was to give pilots discovering paragliding a glider which is easy to fly, comfortable and extremely safe, which would also appeal to regular pilots wishing to fly totally relaxed. Gin has dedicated his days and nights to developing this amazing new wing. He flew hundreds of hours with prototypes until he was finally satisfied that the wing was just as he imagined.
Easy, progressive and fun The latest materials and technologies have been used for the construction of the Bolero 4. Gin and his R&D team have spent a lot of time making the inflation perfect and homogeneous in all different kinds of conditions. The wing is thus easy to ground handle and very forgiving on take off. These improved characteristics are the result of a new leading edge that is reinforced with flexible plastic battens. This enables a reduction in weight over conventional mylar inserts, while maintaining the same aerodynamic characteristics. A big effort was made on reducing the weight of the glider—to improve the inflation, the performance and the general behavior of the wing. The fabric for the top surface uses a water-based coating for better durability and resistance to porosity. In flight, the Bolero 4 is docile and damps air mass movements to keep the pilot serene at all times. A thorough trimming of the wing provides great stability on all axes, while still maintaining precise handling. The wing will obey any brake input immediately but without excess. The sink rate has been improved to make it more efficient while thermalling and also to avoid beginners banking the glider excessively if they are too sudden on the brake. The brake travel is thus long and progressive. On landing, the Bolero 4 will only surprise you with its ease A new standard in its class Gin Gliders is proud to release a wing with such good performance, especially in terms of handling. Among its competitors on the market, the Bolero 4 is the only high-level entry wing that is EN A and LTF A certified. This proves that the Bolero 4 is the right choice for students from their first steps in the air to their first long flights and much more.

Gin Sprint

EN B LTA 1/2 Standard High End Paraglider

The Sprint sets a new standard in the intermediate category. Using the latest technology, GIN offers the perfect blend of safety, handling and performance that will appeal to a wide range of pilots.
The new high-end 1-2 Paraglider At the time, nobody thought that such incredible performance could be combined with the safety standards of a 1-2 intermediate glider. Now, the success story continues with the new GIN SPRINT. We are all eagerly looking forward to the new generation glider, and expectations are running high.
Your flight partner A good paraglider must be able to be forgotten by the pilot during the flight. After all, there are many better things to do in flight than to constantly worry about your paraglider The Sprint has been designed and trimmed to be your flight partner in all situations. In the air, whatever your experience, the flight is always a story between you and the elements. On a long cross country from your favorite flying site, or simply in the air to enjoy the end of a beautiful day, the smooth feeling on glide and the precision in the turn of the Sprint will be your partner. In flight, well- being is essential because after coming back down to earth, the only important thing is the next flight. The Sprint creates a new standard in this intermediate category. Performance is amazing; it is a complete new step in the behavior among these intermediate gliders. It climbs and behaves like a high performance wing in the thermal. The pitch stability gives an amazing ratio between performance and comfort.
Easy partner To be your best friend in flight, the Sprint must have high performance, but must also be easy to pilot in all situations and phases of the flight. At take off, even with strong wind, this glider launches without a big surge. No stress. The main characteristic of this wing is an impressive ratio between the performance and the smooth feeling of safety: the Sprint has well damped reactions to turbulence, making the flight very comfortable.
Rigifoil Inside The Sprint is equipped with the RIGIFOIL, the patented system (no. PCT/KR00/00665) already used on the highest performance GIN gliders like the Boomerang series. On the Sprint, the RIGIFOIL is used to maintain the solidity of the leading edge and to avoid pitching of the tips. It makes the glider very smooth to fly, even at the very high top speed for this category of glider. The maximum speed is very high for a glider with an aspect ratio of 5.32. Such speed is possible, and still comfortable, because the RIGIFOIL helps to keep the air inlets open and avoid collapses

Gin Yeti

LTF 1 Lightweight Paraglider

For several seasons Gin Gliders has been working towards developing lighter weight designs for all models in the GIN range but also developing specific materials with our suppliers. The Yeti is the result of these developments and improvements. Our main objectives were to produce a lighter glider with easier handling.
Easy: Impressive inflation and launch Our experience of mountaineering shows that a mountain glider must be easy to use: manageable whilst handling on the ground, easy to launch, and easy to fly. The Yeti is a very lightweight version of the Bolero 3. Hence the safety aspect and in-flight performance are much like that of a LTF1 glider, but with more speed and more dynamic handling. In flight, the biggest advantage over the previous version is the improved performance; this is a glider, which is more compact, more precise and more efficient in thermals The Yeti has very easy launch characteristics: it does not over fly and puts the pilot in charge immediately. These two characteristics are a must for any mountaineering glider. The Yeti retains these but its ultra-light weight makes inflation even better! To enable take-off from steep slopes or snow, attachment points have been added to the top surface to connect the glider to the ground.
Light Materials, Advanced Technology The Yeti is built with 2 fabrics: The new Skytex 27, this PA 6.6 high tenacity, 22 dtex ripstop fabric is the ultra-light Porcher fabric (27 g/sqm) designed for paragliding. We are using it for the main top and bottom section. The 9017 E68A, used exclusively by Gin Gliders (36g/sqm), is a PA 6.6 high tenacity – 33 dtex. We have 5 years experience of using this light fabric, and are delighted with the results for its longevity and strength. This is why we choose to use it in the ribs and leading edge sections. Lines are heat treated and pre-stretched from LIROS. Risers are constructed from a new 12 mm Aramid webbing for easier ground handling than on the previous light risers. All other materials used in the construction - tapes, reinforcements and connectors etc. are chosen to achieve the highest performance to weight ratio possible.

Airwave Gecko

EN B LTF 1 First Paraglider

Your early days in the sport are in many ways the most important. The experiences you go through now are the ones that will determine where you go with the sport, and what you get from it. You need stability, security and a wing that looks after you and makes learning easy. To help you through this formative period of your flying career Airwave have created the Gecko, a straight forward, no nonsense, cost effective paraglider that is perfect for school use or your early days. The Gecko has passed the stringent CEN A (23A,1B) tests, the strictest level of certification currently in existence.
One of the most important attributes of a wing of this level is the ease of launch, if you are finding it hard to get off the ground you will get less time in the air, and soon get frustrated. With this in mind a long time was spent working on building in exceptionally forgiving launch and ground handling characteristics into this wing; the Gecko climbs overhead with a very smooth motion and has no tendency to overshoot, no matter how hard and aggressive you are with it. Even if the glider comes up off to one side its very easy to correct and continue with the launch. The most important attribute in a wing of this class has to be security and stability. By bringing the centre lines together and reducing the amount of roll the Gecko feels incredibly secure, even to a novice. Internally an unusual box construction within the wing was used to give greater stability at the front of the wing. The A’s and B’s are closer together than normal so the profile is thicker and more stable than usual. This make the leading edge feel like a rigid box and makes the wing more stable and resistant to collapse. Even if you pull too hard on the A’s during the launch the glider wont collapse, and if you hang on the B-lines the glider just carries on flying, it wont stall because of this feature. Finally w the brake range was increased, so the pilot can fly with their hands locked down without stalling, to make the Gecko almost bombproof.

The Wave 2 is Airwave’s latest intermediate paraglider. A sophisticated design, it sits between the entry level Gecko and the immaculate Sport 4. It is designed for pilots who've mastered the skills necessary to fly safely and are ready to be released into the freedom of the skies with comfort and security.
The Wave 2 is a fun glider to fly and provides beginners with a safe tool to continue to improve their flying skills but still leaving them enough room for learning. The excellent combination of safety, stability and security makes it the perfect glider for recreational pilots who want peace of mind in their flights. The Wave 2 uses highly sophisticated technology that we'd never dreamt of putting into a glider of this level before. The overall line length has been optimized to just 328 metres for the medium size. This gives the Wave 2 its excellent glide and also reduces the overall weight of the wing. The Wave 2 boasts an auto stable profile. This means that the wing will stay where it should be relative to you, directly overhead, with only minimal input. This reduces your workload in the air and helps you get the most from the wing. The Wave 2 is the first Airwave wing to successfully use 'photogrammetry' in the design. This technique uses digital photography to analyse the shape of the glider in the air. Digital photos are translated into a 3D model of the glider, which allows us to check that the glider is the exact shape it was designed to be, in the air and not just in the design program. When Airwave first did this on the Wave 2 they found some significant differences between the flying wing and the theoretical model produced with Merlin, their design software. Correcting these differences has significantly helped to improve the general flying characteristics of the Wave 2. The photogrammetry technique will now be used throughout the entire Airwave range.

Firebird First Paraglider

LTF 1 EN A Ideal First Paraglider
With the attractive and eye-catching design of the Firebird F1RST you'll feel like an eagle in the wind. Easy to start and easy to land the FIRST gives you security on the ground and while flying in reduced height. Its good-natured thermal profile helps you to get up even in the slightest updraft and makes this wind perfect for beginners and leisure pilots. It will give you as much enjoyment in your education as while soaring or making your first long-distance flights. One of the most important criteria in the development of the FIRST was the weight reduction of the glider. The intelligent lightweight construction - using high-class exclusive material - of Firebird offers a weight reduction of up to 30 % regarding similar gliders of other manufacturers.

Firebird Phoenix Paraglider

LTF 1-2 EN B Low End Paraglider
Nearly every paragliding pilot tries to fly as high and as long as possible. Even if you're on tour cross-country: most of the time you are circling in spirals. So the cornering and circling ability of a paraglider is essential for the quality of your flight. That’s where Firebird started the development of the Phoenix.
One and a half year of hard work went by to give the Phoenix its "power steering”. The light and easy handling combined with the precise reaction to every steering move allow you to gain height even if the updraft isn't that good. The banking in curves doesn't matter with the Phoenix - every moment will be a perfect one. The cherry on the cake of our LTF 1-2 (EN B) Phoenix is its very easy starting and landing behavior. And for the frequent fliers under the pilots: the Phoenix has a proper glide ratio, too.
